Abby squinted her eyes just barley as the bright lights focused down on her as walked onto the stage as 'Angel'. She came to learn that the normal crowd filled with tourists, truck stoppers, and under-aged teens. So changing her name was a stripper was more for her safety. She wasn't required to do that but for her own self-esteem she'd prefer to be this secret sexy girl who goes by Angel. Especially if she were to ever have any surprise visits from her family. She would hate for them to find out that their innocent daughter turned out be dancing half naked in front of drunken men for money. Abby could picture it now; her mother laying on the floor from a heart attack, her younger sister asking if she could join, her father staring not sure of what to say, and her older brother trying to pull her off stage in front of her fans.

Abby refocused her attention at the job in hand. Every stage stripper had a role to play. Some were teachers, others nurses while she choose the Cowgirl. Not only was it a male fantasy but also the only choice left besides pregnant stripper and she was definitely for from that. She stepped out on the flashing floor, her boots clicking with the music as her song blared threw out the club. She wasn't much of a country music fan but Randy Houser's Going Out With My Boots On seemed like an appropriate choice. She made her round about the crowd that lined up along the stage. She air had a mixture smell of whiskey, cigar smoke, and bad cologne that was applied too much.

She walked to the front of the stage and knelt down spreading her legs as she came face to face with a regular. He was hollering at her as she dance in her black boots that rode up to her her mid-calf. Just above those she wore her black embroidered leather chaps that would normally cover a pair of jeans but instead the rested against her bare legs. The only thing that did lay under them were a pair of black lacey underwear with a belt laying loosely on top. Her stomach was firm, flat and uncovered. Moving up Abby wore a black leather bra that was embroidered on her breast covers. Finally to top it off she wore a black cowboy hat that she now placed on one of her male fans.

Abby then maneuvered her body to wards the pole in the middle of the stage and grabbed on with one hand as she swung around until her body glided down to the floor. She moved the back of her body up and down the pole. She did continuous maneuvers around the pole and dance floor until the music started to die. She made one more go around the stage, collecting any money that was on the floor or being handed to her. Then she made her exit to the backstage as the next dancers name. Abby grabbed a damp towel and wiped her head as another dancer walked up to her.

Good job Abby.

"Thanks Trish." She smiled warmly then headed over to her dressing room where the club owner was waiting for her. Another amazing night my love. She only nodded in response and closed the door leaving him outside. She wasn't really in the mood for owner to stripper talk. Dancing was enough for her tonight.

Scott has only been living in Los Angeles for the last couple of months and up to now it was going good, he wouldn’t really consider himself to be a tourist but that is what people like to categorize him as, he left his old place because of the shit that was going on with him and this other dude, he got a job offer at the strip club in LA and took it straight away, within a day he was on a plane over here to being working the next day, he hated what happened in his old town and that was why he left so suddenly. He didn’t mean for it to happen but it did anyway and now he was that deep in shit that he had to keep running away from it most likely for the rest of his life. He killed a man, though he could say that he deserved it for the things he did in his life, it was still a terrible burden to keep on your shoulders for such a long time, it happened six months ago at a party. Scott was seeing this beautiful young lady and knew she was in trouble with the big gang that surrounded that area, so he had to do something about it. Well one thing led to another and he was left battered and bruised in the middle of the street for confronting them on what they had done wrong. Then to get his revenge he met with one of the members, just alone to speak about something, like he was after drugs and willing to spend a lot of money on them, and kicked the shit out of him warning him and the gang that he was after them now.

Then one fatal night there was one of the biggest warehouse fires and Scott just had to be involved, the girl he was seeing was tied up inside. He tried his hardest battling against the blazes to get to her but when he did, she was already burnt to death, he collapsed to his knees and for the first time in his life cried over a girl, then heading outside to see four of them in a line, leaning against a car watching what they had created. He flipped and just began hitting them repeatedly, two ran off just to leave two for him to fight, one was bleeding on the floor from his mouth and face in general the other pulled a gun on him. He only just grabbed the hand in time and placed him in a lock, it was something he learnt at a self defence class and it was coming in handy at the moment, the only problem was the pressure that was still on the gun, firing a shot into the guy’s skull. Dropping the lifeless body, his blood on his skin he couldn’t believe what he did and ran off. Now the guy that was lying on the floor, was after him and now he was more pissed than before, as the bloke Scott killed was his brother. That was why Scott was running, he couldn’t go back home ever again and had a very impressive burn on his lower calf from battling the fires, he says it was just a kitchen accident and it was his own stupid fault as he does not want anyone to know what he did, how he took someone’s life in pure rage.

He had a shift at the club tonight and it was a comfort to walk through the doors and head straight to the bar to begin working, he liked to keep active and keep his mind off anything but all the shit he needed to do. So he passed a couple of the girls that were the more forward girls, they didn’t dance or tempt the men, they were the ones to give lap dances and get to know the blokes. He smiled at a few like he always did and acted normal, he had slept with a few of the girls that worked her but not that many, he loved them all the pieces but most of them were like little sisters to him and he didn’t feel too great about shagging them when that was in the back of his mind, though seeing them like the day they were born didn’t bother him at all. He shook hands with another guy that was working with him tonight, there was also a girl but she was new and not many people liked her already, and that was when he begun his work, already getting his first order of several beers for a local at one of the tables he fetched the girl over when he had finished preparing the drinks and told her to go give them to the guys, she questioned him on why she had to go. Your female, your sexy, hint why they are here love. and that was it, she went on her way and he was left stood behind the bar once more, getting a couple of shots ready for some bloke that seemed to be fixed to the bar, and wasn’t interested in the girls.

When Abby came onto the stage he looked over and smiled softly as the bloke took the three shots of him and enjoyed them to the fullest before sending the cup back to Scott, he sighed as he looked at her. Though he had seen under the small clothes she was wearing and shagged her a couple of times it still made him feel so good to be able to watch her, a little jealous that all the other guys were doing the same as he was and wanting her, but still he knew that they had something and he loved the fact he knew what guy she would most likely take home with her. When she finished he grinned and tapped the other guy’s shoulder, hinting he was taking a break, they were called cigarette breaks but Scott did not smoke so it didn’t matter, to him it meant around twenty minutes to see Abby. He headed backstage with the other girls and waved hello to them all before smiling slyly and heading over to where Abby was situated. Knocking on the door he smiled and waited for her to open. When she did he looked at her Hey gorgeous he grinned as he passed by her and sat down in a small couch there was.

Abby stared at her reflexion for what seemed like forever. For some reason she just wasn't in the mood and dancing up on the stage made her feel even more shittier then before. Why she got into this job, she had no idea. It was the first thing that had popped up that she happened to be good at. She could think back on the day she flew in from Virginia. At the time she was more eager to get around in the big city then make something of herself. Without thinking she moved into her great uncle's house who was more than willing to food and a roof to sleep under. She would have declined the offer but it was one of the deals she made with her parents. If they were going to allow her to move to LA then she would have to help care for Louise, her uncle. Being around the elderly gave her the creeps but he was family.

So Abby moved in with her great uncle and the first thing she tried to do was make friends. Jobs came second. Her first friend was Trina, another stripper who introduced Abby to the half-nude world after her first couple jobs had failed. First she tried waitressing. That turned out horribly when she purposely split hot coffee on a middle aged man who grabbed her ass. Then she attempted being a telemarketer. It didn't take long for Abby to walk straight out the door she walked in. All the hang ups bothered her. Finally after so many failed jobs Trina suggested that Abby try out stripping. After making over 500 hundred her first night she decided she had found her calling, whether she liked it for not. Now as Abby stared at herself in the mirror she wondered why she even bothered. The only thing dancing was good for was the money. It didn't make her happy in any way. Though dancing had some positives. Abby had picked up a new fashion scene that made her known in the city. Her flirting techniques got her men, but never boyfriends. And the money. How could anyone give up the excellent tips. That was the best because not only could she get what she wanted but she could help out her family too. Whom she sent money to every month. After awhile of starring at herself and think about life she picked up and damp rag and started to wipe off her eye makeup.

Abby's eyes bolted to the door as she heard a knock. Reluctantly she stood, annoyed. "Look. I already told you I didn't want to tal..." She swung open the door expecting to see the club manager but saw a friendly face in said. "Scott, its you. Sorry." She apologized and opened the door wider for him. Once he sat on the couch she shut the door and stood staring at him. Scott was the club's bartender whom slept with most of the girls that worked there. Including her. She had to admit he was gorgeous and great in bed but there something more that attracted her to him. Something that couldn't keep her away. Abby placed herself on the table that sat in front of the couch and leaned back on her arms as she placed her legs over his. "How's the crowd at the bar?" She grinned as she ran her foot up his leg.

Call him and player or a man whore but Scott would fight to the death disagreeing on whatever people said about him and sleeping with girls., no one could blame him that he liked sex, he worked in a place where every single guy that walked through the door was hoping on getting some by the end of the evening, he was just lucky enough to be that guy and not have to spend a dime to get it. He stood at the door waiting for her to answer before he heard her in the background yelling something which he couldn’t make out so he just waited until she opened the door, he grinned cheekily as he looked at her before she apologised, so he was guessing it was a good thing he didn’t hear what she said, but he just shrugged it off and wandered inside her little room. Abby was one of the hottest girls at the minute, the nights she was working was when all the men came to see her, Scott had many men come to him every night he worked when Abby was not asking when she would next be in, of course he couldn’t stop telling him as he knew every date she was in for the next month, and most of those days he was working with her, she made his job a lot better and he wanted to keep an eye on her though he would never tell her that. As he sat down he watched her close the door, walk over and place herself on the small table in front of her, and in every single way she was sexy while she did it. He smiled softly when she placed her legs over his, placing his hands on her leg he rubbed up and down them a little which could have been taken as being teasing but he just wanted to feel her body again, damn he missed having those curves to himself. He was lucky he had a lot of muscle in his upper half as it was not easy to carry someone from sitting down. He smiled as he placed her in the position where she was straddling him. Abby wondered what it would her life would be like without stripping. Where would she be working? Who she be living back with her uncle, whom she still visited every day? She only choose to move out of his house without her parent's knowledge because she was too afraid that he would find out what she did for a living. Or at least until she finished school. Abby told her uncle that she was living with a friend, which was true. She now lived in a two bedroom apartment with Trina. The same girl who introduced her the the atmosphere they were in. Turns out that she and Trina were really good friends. Which was good in her case because when she first moved to LA she had none but her great uncle. She found herself more social now that she was comfortable with everything.

When Abby first meet Trina she was pretty skeptical. She could tell there was something different about her then the rest of the girls she meet. The fancy clothes. The money that she spent without at thought. She was afraid to think that the beautiful girl was a prostitute but was more relieved when she found out her true identity. Though stripping wasn't much better. Abby couldn't judge though, now that she was one of the top girls in the club. She never planned to be what she was but it was the best job to keep her growing threw school. Her real passion was writing. She was like the middle school girl who wrote in her journal every night except she was twenty-one and more literate then when she was thirteen.

Her writings weren't anything special. Mostly thoughts and poems. Abby actually attempted a novel once but stopped when the plot feel flat. The story still sat on her computer waiting for her adventurous mind to attack it again. What she wrote always depended on her mood. She had to be inspired to attempt her book again and lately she hadn't been very inspired by anything. When she was a teenager Abby use to hide in the meadow by her house as she read books and wrote all day long. Reading was one of her hobbies, as nerdy as it sounded. She loved to read all the stories and get involved as if she was there. Fairy tales were big for her. As a little girl she believed that dreams came true and to some extent she still believed it.

When train of thought had been broken by the knock at the door Abby grew irritated but was pleased that the knock turned out to be Scott. He was definitely a sight for sore eyes. Literally gorgeous. There was no doubt that he had been her type being tall, blond and handsome but she knew his reputation around the club. He had slept with pretty much all the girls in the club but never tied himself down with any. Pretty much he was a player to her eyes but that never stopped Abby from letting him take off her clothes. How was she supped to resist a guy like him? She knew there was more to him then meets the eye but they had never taken their relationship past sex even though she wanted more of him. She would never let that be known to him though. Being a couple in a place like this didn't seem like the best idea.

"That's good." Abby nodded as he mentioned the tips. There were always good. Just like the feeling of him rubbing her legs. She loved it. She missed having him in her arms. Scott didn’t want to be a bartender for the rest of his life, he actually wanted to open up a small garage of his own, fix, buy and sell cars all that stuff. He was a good business man and had a way with words since he was young but he never was able to raise enough cash to even get himself the smaller place at home or here, so it was a dream that was going to have to stay in his mind for a little longer, maybe he would get a break after a while but he was not hoping on anything, things like that didn’t happen to people like Scott, he just wasn’t lucky some would say. Bartending was good for the moment, he got to meet a lot of nice people and had fun with every single second he was working, the girls were great and just like him a way but he also liked that they were different as well.

Abby was beautiful, she had curves in all the right places, her face lit up the stage whenever she was around, he couldn’t keep his eyes off her most of the time and got in trouble with the boss on many occasions for not serving the customers and just looking at Abby all evening. Scott was not the kind of guy to be tied down by a girl, it was because of what happened the last time he let a girl take his heart, she ended up getting hurt and knowing there was someone out there looking for him, he couldn’t risk getting involved with a girl. Sometimes he’d go out to clubs and not use his real name, normally he only changed it to his middle name which was Trent but still it was to make sure that if a girl started talking about him to other people, they’d saw Trent instead of Scott Mccoy, saving his ass from being found by people he really didn’t not want to know.

He grinned lightly when he was talking about his tips, it was actually very good but it was only because the man wanted him to get some of the girl’s number, but he gave him fake ones instead, it was for the girl’s safety and got him some money, he knew what ones to give it was old phones of his that had the SIM cancelled and it would call for five minutes before hanging up so it made it look like the phone was on and there was someone at the other side, which there was not. As he pulled her onto his lap he grinned gently as her arms fell on his shoulders, he loved the way she just did things like this, simplicity but he loved it, her hands gently going through the short strands of his hair was alluring. Oh right, that’s sucks a little He smiled as he looked at her, sometimes he was speechless when he was talking to Abby, not because he had nothing to say just because he didn’t know what to say as his mind was all on her, looking at her, touching her, feeling her. Speaking would have to come later, and he was a person to show his love in actions, not words. She asked him how he was, he grinned softly before looking at her straight in the eye. I’m good thanks, just this one girl, she is pretty fine, looks a lot like you actually he laughed softly, she would know that he was talking about her but he wasn’t going to just going to come right out and say it, he had only been seeing Abby for the last couple of weeks, though with offers from the other girls he didn’t want anyone but Abby. Do I get to see what is under the clothes tonight? he said as he gazed his eyes over her half naked body.

Abby was never good in relationships. Of course she was gorgeous but back in high school she was a lot more innocent then she was today. She dated a couple of the jocks who only wanted to get into her pants. They would dump her within a couple of weeks when she would never give in. Back then she was never in tuned with her sexual needs. It wasn't until her second semester of college did she fall into a serious relationship with a guy named Eli. He was tall dark and handsome. Every girls dream guy. For all she knew he was perfect. They meet in Lit class. He was smart, sweet, charming. The first date they went on he planned out a whole candle light dinner which was really romantic. They were steady for a good 3 months. Sex was amazing but one day she found he had skeletons in his closet.

Abby and Eli were in his door room, getting things a little heated up when they were interrupted by some loud knocking. It turned out to be his wife, whom apparently he hadn't been expecting because he open the door willing. Abby never saw Eli after that. She dumped him no matter how many times he claimed her wanted her and not his wife. It was all to dramatic for her taste. Even the wedding proposal was too much for her. Scott dated one girl back in high school, though there were a few others she was the only one to stand out to him, she was a young sexy blonde haired cheerleader and totally his type, he was a boxer back in high school and a lot of people chose not to mess with him as he did suffer from anger problems and that was why he was enrolled into boxing to keep his tension down by hitting something and not someone. She was not a head cheerleader or one of the popular ones she was just a good cheerleader and was in his English class, he was only seventeen when he met her, she sat across from him and they just started talking one day, he was actually dared by a friend to do so and he was never one to give up on a dare. But they became close friends very quickly, she was nothing like he ever knew, she loved to play on games consoles and kick round a football but she still had a really feminine way of doing it, not like a sissy girl dodging the ball. It was more like you could see she was still a girl underneath it all, she just loved the same things as he did. After a couple of dates and a lot of talking they dated for a long time, she stayed with him till he left school then when she wanted to go over to Europe and work with children they had to split, she was his first love in a way and he knew that he would never forget her, she was amazing, caring and kind and everything he wanted when he was so young.

Since then there has only been one other girl and she died because of him, and that was why he became the guy everyone knows now, sleeping round and never committing, there was a good selection of girls he saw as possible girlfriends but he never made the move as he knew that if he did, he was putting them at risk. Some called him a loner but that was not what he wanted to be, but what he had to be to save the people he loved from getting hurt. Abby was amazing, caring and kind just like his high school sweetheart, and so much more on top of that, everything about her was making him fall deeper for her but he couldn’t tell her, he was meant to have such a hard and solid shell but her touch, kiss and voice was crumbling this hard image and making him feel what love was again. He always came and saw Abby when she was on her break, and sometimes he didn’t have sex or even tempt her with his words, body or anything. Sometimes he just liked to sit there with her and talk about the most random things, like the people that thought they could get anyone they wanted and looked like a dog shitted in their face. They had fun, he even once took her out for ice cream after work, it was a stupid hour in the morning and they went out round town and ate ice cream and talked, he missed doing that with someone, looking at them and knowing they cared about you.

I hope so he grinned as he looked at her, feeling her hands run down his neck and rustle the bottom of his shirt. Things seemed to be completely different with Scott. She wasn't the same ol' girl that he had a one night stand with. And he certainly just wasn't any normal guy she dated. Abby wasn't to open about relationships ever since Eli but no matter how much she tried she couldn't stay away from Scott. Scott was not the kind of person to open up the people, he still wasn’t even though him and Abby had a relationship outside of the club, there were things in his life that hurt him a lot and certain words and phrases always made him think about them, also he did not have the best temper control for a man and was always known to fight when he was pushed, he did try and keep himself cool but there was something inside of him that wanted to fight everything, fight against the person who wanted him dead, fight for this girl that was sitting on his lap, fight for the feeling of being loved, fight to cure the insecurity he had inside of him, the hope he didn’t believe in and not having faith in himself to do anything but fuck things up. He wanted to fight it all but knew he couldn’t there was a few things that he couldn’t change and that was tough luck for him, and he had to deal with it but every time he knew he couldn’t have it, made him want to fight even more, and even harder to kind of prove to himself and people around him that he could do it if he wanted too.

Abby was this kind of light at the end of his tunnel as he knew that he could have her if he wanted too, the question was did he really want her, to put her in a situation where she could get hurt in the end, people were looking for him and he might have to up and go at any second so it could not work for them, he couldn’t do that too her, get her hopes up and then walk away without a word. That would make him look like a bad guy and he wasn’t, he used to be and kind of still was but he tried hard to be the best person he could but to save other people and himself from getting hurt, he just stopped caring anymore, if you didn’t care about what happened to the girl once you left the room then how could they get hurt, or at least his mind could be at rest from it all. He loved being able to be himself round Abby it made him feel as though he didn’t need to wear this hardcore mask all the time and could actually relax and not have to look over his shoulder at every passing second just to make sure it was all safe, she was a nice girl and he knew that, and it was horrible seeing as though she didn’t say it or look like it, he was kind of building something up between them, the sex and talking, connections with each other, and in the end he knew it was all going to have to end.

He did mean it when he said that he hoped to be able to make all her worries go away, either with sex or anything else that she wanted. He just wanted to make her happy, as he didn’t know how long he had left in this town to be able to do so. It was a security blanket that covered Abby from getting her heart ripped into two again. All her life she grew up on trust. Trusting her parents to raise her the best they could. Scott was seen as the guy that was a loner to everyone except a couple of people, even those people didn’t feel as though they were completely seeing the real him, but with Scott spending his whole life trying to keep himself safe and out of the way from things, it kind of made him cut off from the world. Thinking at night was a bad thing for him, he liked going to bed with a woman as it kind of kept his mind off things if he was doing something else, but in his small house he always felt alone and that was when his thoughts came after him, flash backs of that night when he took someone else’s life in rage.

He sat there with Abby on his lap; the couch was nothing special just a small two seater but it meant a lot more to him right now. Abby was never outgoing or sexual the way she is now. She was the virgin Mary of her time. She grew up in a conservative and religious family. Scott had never been the good kid, never been the one to be praised for the good things he did in life, he was always the one sat in the principal’s office being told off for another thing he did which was considered inappropriate on the school grounds, he also lost his virginity when he was fourteen to a twenty one year old stripper that worked on his bloke, he was just that kind of guy that got away with all of this, and he loved being able to do it and have everyone just look at him and tell him he was stupid but not do anything about it. That was Scott, he was a messed up child and his father did not help, watching him die was a hard thing to go through and then listen to your mother crying all night because of it was heart breaking, so he found anything and everything to do to keep his mind off the fact his father was dead.

Though he didn’t like to talk about it Scott went to the army when he left school for a bit, he was sent to the war and had to be sent home when he was shot. He had a good bullet wound to the chest and a lot of girls commented on it but he always said that it was nothing and told them to shut up about it, he didn’t like his time in the army but it was what his father was so he did it in respect of him but when he was injured and sent home he decided it was not for him and walked away from it.
